In the 2021 series, Hamish and Yebin Mok – who was also replaced – were injured, Hamish (who partnered with Faye Brookes) broke a tendon on his finger.
While Yebin suffered a leg injury in a freak accident with partner Graham Bell who saw her accidentally fall on his blade and slice off his leg, with the star needing surgery after his tendons were exposed.
While it is not known whether injuries played a role in their outings, the main reason for her absence could be due to the fact that she gave birth to her second child last week.

But pro training will see some changes as British figure skater Morgan Swales, three-time Hong Kong champion Tippy Packard and US team skater Colin Grafton have signed up for the show.
And that won’t be Morgan, 22’s first taste of fame, since she previously appeared in the Netflix series Zero Chill as the figure skating double for main character Kayla MacBentley.
Meanwhile, Colin was inspired to start skating at the age of seven after watching the 1998 Winter Olympics and has since pursued a successful career as a pairs skater for the USA team.
