Digbeth bar reveals ice rink plans to accompany bottomless brunches

A popular Digbeth bar promises bubbles on ice this Christmas.

Luna Springs, already well known for their bottomless brunch offerings, plans to fight the winter months by embracing the cold.

Starting in mid-October, the Lower Trinity Street site will have a 20m x 10m outdoor ice rink for guest enjoyment.

From November, there will be the possibility of a bottomless brunch for one hour after 30 minutes of skating with friends or family.

Luna’s bosses also described it as the “perfect night out” as the venue’s resident DJs will be spinning their decks throughout.

After hanging up their skates, guests will arrive in a giant, heated tent for 60 minutes of prosecco or unlimited beer and food – with “explosive burgers” and vegan options on the menu.

In addition to the promise of snow machines, festive dining huts, and cane caves, the bar is also selling tickets for its ‘Camp Luna’ singing event starting October 16.

He’ll see revelers under a festive marquee encouraged to dance on tables (think Bongo Bingo) while the staff keep their “glasses full of bubbles”.

And a bottomless “Bad Santa” brunch event, described as “a day of outrageous games,” will see guests sing festive songs as they engage in karaoke.

There will also be performances by the Santa Jazz Band, The Nutcracker on Ice, Bavarian bands, the Bad Santa Christmas Show and more.

A spokesperson for Luna Springs said, “This winter we bring you: ‘Brunching on Ice’.

“Bringing together everyone’s favorite party pastime and a bucket full of bubbles; join us for 30 minutes on ice followed by a ton of drink.

“Skate to the sound of our resident DJ and devour some punchy burgers.

“It’s the perfect icebreaker for a date or a celebration with a frosty twist.

“Put on your skates because the brunch will be sold out. “

The rink should open between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.
