At just 22 years old, Reynolds is living a professional skateboarder’s dream and is on his number one ranking for his first appearance in the sport at the Summer Olympics.

The native people of Hawaii moved to northern San Diego County to live in the skateboarding capital of the world. He talks about his relationship with other sports celebrities like Tony Hawk and Shaun White in Southern California.

One day, an athlete rubs shoulders with a sports elite and the next day, he goes to a local skatepark with his neighbors.

But after all, Reynolds has a goal at the Tokyo Olympics (yes, he’s good at skating), but there’s something else!

update: Reynolds The First-Ever USA Skateboarding Team, June 21, 2021. Six of the twelve have close ties to San Diego. They grew up here or moved here (mostly to North County, from a man named Tony Hawk).
