Here’s how retailers are pushing you to start your holiday shopping early

Big retailers are pushing people to shop earlier than ever this year so shoppers can take advantage of some offers – if they can find them – and avoid disappointments. The holiday shopping season should be chaotic due to shipping and supply chain issues affecting almost everyone, and stores want to make sure customers get what they need before the holidays.
The problem is twofold: Retailers find it difficult to have their goods stranded on container ships carrying goods due to congestion at ports. There is also a shortage of workers needed to unload and transport products from ships to warehouses and distribution centers.
Despite the problems, consumers are expected to spend 5% more this year – an average of $ 1,463 per household this season, according to a survey released this week by Deloitte. So, to alleviate some of the problems, retailers have said the holiday shopping season is already underway – more than two months before Christmas.

Amazon started deploy “Black Friday-worthy offers” early October to kick off the holiday season. The company is currently offering “big discounts across all categories,” according to its website, including fashion, home goods, toys and electronics on a special webpage.
Popular brands, such as Apple, KitchenAid, and Hasbro, will get a discount on certain days in October and November. New offers will also be added every day for the next two months.
The electronics retailer begins its Black Friday deals with a four-day sale that begins October 19. The usual products, including laptops and televisions, will be discounted. If customers miss that, Best Buy has said it will host another Black Friday event starting November 19 with “thousands of deals.”
It also attracts hesitant shoppers with a “Black Friday Price Guarantee,” which means it will automatically refund customers if it drops prices before November 18.
The Warehouse Club recently announced that it is hosting twice as many ‘savings events’ this year compared to last year in response to an internal survey that showed its buyers planning to shop for them. vacation earlier this year. Discounts will be applied on interior decoration, gifts and food.
