Pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler to film TV show at Woodward Copper

Woodward and pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler recently announced that the upcoming season of “Camp Woodward” will travel across the United States while filming the show’s 12th season.

For the past 11 seasons, “Camp Woodward” has been filmed only in Woodward, Pennsylvania, but season 12 will flip the script of the skateboard-themed reality show as it visits all five Woodward locations over the course of the season. ‘summer.

The tour includes a stop at Woodward Copper at Copper Mountain Resort July 25-26 when Sheckler and the show’s crew will spend two days filming the most recent season.



Other stops include Tehachapia and Reno, CA; Park City, Utah and State College, Pennsylvania.

Sheckler first dated Woodward as a camper at age 7 and has been part of the Woodward family for 24 years, including hosting the show last season.



In addition to hosting the next season of ‘Camp Woodward,’ Sheckler will promote the Sandlot Times Tour with his foundation’s “Skate for a Cause” mission, which supports various organizations at Woodward’s five locations.

Recipients include Stoked MentoringLifetime projectHigh Fives FoundationChill Foundation and Max’s mission. The Sheckler Foundation will also provide an Athlete Adaptive Equipment Grant to the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
