Skater Janhavi in ​​the Indian team

Janhavi Kadu, daughter of Vilay and Vaishali Kadu, has been selected in the Indian team for the 2022 World Inline Speed ​​Skating Games to be held in Buenos Aires and San Juan in Argentina in October 2022.

Janhavi, a student of Dharampeth Science College and a registered skater of Nagpur District Roller Skating Association (NDRSA), competed in the State Championship of Skating Association of Maharashtra and School Games Federation of India (SGFI). Janhavi has also represented Maharashtra in seven national roller skating championships under the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) in various national speed inline skating championships where she won three national medals as well. She was also a national skating champion.

A keen skater, Janhavi competed in the state championship ten times and won 12 gold, eight silver and three.

Recently, she represented Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University in the Indian Inter-University Championship and won one gold and two silver medals.

Janhavi trained under Sachin Singh of Haryana (National Champion) under Dr Upendra Varma, his mother Vaishali and Dr Rahul Kalode, Head of Sports at Dharampeth Science College.

The NDRSA will congratulate Janhavi in ​​the coming days.
