Woman Unknowingly Buys Skates She Sold 40 Years Ago

Renee Forrestal hadn’t put on a *** pair of roller skates in over 40 years. She wanted to try it again as a fun way to exercise. So she bought new skates last month. She trained for a *** week, but they didn’t fit her well, not like the one she had when she was young. So she searched online classifieds sites and quickly found *** similar pair in questionable condition. They said, well here it is. You know, if that, you think it’s gonna go with your foot, you know, you’re welcome to try it and I think it’s *** a little dodged. So I kept scrolling $40, that’s a hell of a deal. So I got it, and I thought they looked like the ones I used to have, Forrestal said when she first saw them, they were pretty dirty, but once she put her foot in one of the skates, she knew she had *found* a good fit. It’s like *** Cinderella and the slipper moment, it was very strange. It felt like a perfect fit. I couldn’t believe it and they felt great. It wasn’t even like the new ones I had, like they broke my foot. Forrestal says she started asking the salesman when he got the skates and things got even weirder as he tells me I flipped my tongue and there’s my name and I was like what? And I couldn’t even believe it. I thought how and then I said, this is me, these are, these were mine when I saw my name and I kind of absorbed the shock and felt, I know that I felt tears come to my eyes and I think because I’m not even sure, I think because suddenly I was taken back to my youth 40 years ago. It was as if the life of a bomb flashed before my eyes. Watching it all unfold was James Bond, the man who sold the skates. Bond says the moment filled her heart with joy when she saw her name written inside, she just started crying and thought that was so cool. I feel like they could make a *** Disney movie out of all of this. Bond is *** selling a lot of items online right now because he’s getting ready to move. It had a strict first-come, first-served policy. But something was different about this woman asking about old roller skates. She explained *** few things in probably three or four quick messages before saying she was going to pick them up. It was mostly just her tone in the message to say she wanted, you know she wanted to get back into rollerblading and wanted to find a good pair. So there it was just a *** gut feeling really for the forest, this can’t all be a *** coincidence. She felt a *** of desire to roller skate again. She went online to find the right pair and found her 40+ year old skates. The universe works in mysterious ways. Let’s put it this way and I think, you know, things, things happen for a reason.

A Canadian woman says she had a Cinderella moment when she went shopping for used roller skates. As fate would have it, she stumbled across her own skates, which she parted with 40 years ago. Renee Forrestall hadn’t laced a pair of roller skates in over 40 years. She wanted to try it again as a fun way to exercise. So she bought new skates last month. She trained for a week, but they didn’t fit her well. Not like the ones she had when she was young. So she searched online classifieds sites and quickly found a similar pair in questionable condition. “They said, ‘Well, there you go, if you think this is going to work for you, you can try it. And I thought, ‘Ah, that’s a little dodgy.’ So I kept scrolling,” Forrestall said. “But I said, $40 is a bargain. And I thought they look like the ones I had before.” Watch the video above for more on that story.
